Legacy
Legacy (17 mins GB 2006) is a single screen video installation exploring the effects of slavery on intimate relationships in Black families.
The film is seen from the perspective of the relationship with Inge ‘Campbell’ Blackman and her mother. Legacy was shot on MiniHDV exclusively in Trinidad and Tobago.
The installation was originally curated and commissioned by David A Bailey for the Arnolfini.
